I am an optimistic and cheerful artist and toy designer, with a focus on storytelling through design. I am passionate about creating toys that spark joy and inspire others. I always bring a positive, can-do attitude to my work. I am excited to expand my experiences and am open to new opportunities.
Toy Design
Toys are more than just objects; they connect generations and transform imaginations into something real. I design toys that spark whimsy through storytelling, drawing inspiration from food, animals, and collectible toys.

Who is She?
Beverly grew up in a modest home; her parents sent her to an elite private school in the glamorous Beverly Hills in hopes of a better education. Among her classmates who were dripping in diamonds and designer clothes, Beverly yearned to fit in. She begged her parents to help her keep up with the glittering lifestyle she saw every day. On her 3rd birthday, she was gifted her first designer bag, and inside held her sweetest surprise, her puppy Chanel. From that moment on, Beverly perfected the art of illusion. Every time she leaves the house, she puts on a performance as the “richest girl in the neighborhood.” But behind the sparkle, lies a girl caught between who she is and who she wants to be.

Alexandria, Delphine, and Judie are the best of friends, always supporting each other no matter what. While they may seem like any other bestie bunch, these three share a secret: they lead a fear-fighting double life as ninjas! Though they may not be the most stealthiest ninjas, this uncoordinated bunch is determined to defeat their fears. When things get tough, they always find a way to persevere, together!

How to Play:

Lift her arms
Point her feet
Spin to reveal her secret identity!

Prototype
Using the body of a FailFix doll and the face mold of an Ever After High doll, I was able to bring Alexandria to life. I did a custom reroot on the doll head using nylon wigs and hair extensions. I created pattern pieces for the clothes and kitbashed the shoes from a Rainbow High doll.

Process
One of my biggest inspirations for becoming a Toy Designer was my interest in Miraculous Ladybug. When I was in high school, I became a huge fan of the series. It felt as if my spark as an artist had reignited, and I had also begun designing products and toys. For that reason, I wanted to go all out for this project. As a big fan of the license, I have noticed many other fans adore seeing the interactions between these two characters; however, there isn't much official merchandise featuring them. So, I chose to focus on the relationship between Marinette and Cat Noir.

Tubby's Town
Tubby's Town is a line of preschool toys that promote imaginative, pretend play.
Tubby is a shy, plain, normal dog born into the world of desserts. For some odd reason, he’s the only dessert-less animal in this world. He’s never seemed to mind, up until recently… he’s determined to figure out his true dessert calling
Concept Sketches
Tubby is a character who is based on my dog. I tried many variations of what he would look like anthropomorphized, I wanted to make sure I captured his silly and nonchalant energy.
While creating Tubby's Town, I practiced a lot of world building.

Extras
Since Tubby is inspired by my dog, I often find myself drawing him and wanted to try designing a few red envelopes for Lunar New Year.
Tubby In Real Life!

Rolland is a line of preschool toys that promote imaginative, pretend play.
Rolland is a pillbug who loves humans, while all of his bug friends are terrified of them! Rolland wants to show his friends how nice humans can be. Look! A human child even built him a home!

How to Play:

Play different songs, and Taylor will sing along!
The guitar features 8 buttons for a full octave
Comes with a booklet of button combinations for songs from each era. But if you know music, you can unlock secret surprise songs!
Transforming from guitar mode to stage mode is simple:
Lift up the bottom of the guitar
Pop up the Bluetooth speakers
Pull out the neck of the guitar
Open the head of the guitar

Not only does this playset feature working Bluetooth speakers that you can connect to your phone, but the entire top of the guitar/stage is a transparent LCD screen.

You or Taylor can press a button to switch the stage to the corresponding era, and it also plays a short snippet of a song from that era.
She also has a stand in between the speakers to perform for you!

When you lift up the stand, the stage changes into an ocean and plays water sounds. Just like the finale of the acoustic set in The Eras Tour, Taylor can even dive right in!

When you flip the stage around, it reveals a backstage full of easter eggs. One thing about Taylor is that she loves a good easter egg; she loves dropping them as a way to secretly communicate with fans.I designed the backstage area to be littered with Taylor Swift Easter eggs. Hopefully, you can spot a few!
Expansion Packs

During The Eras Tour, Taylor wore over 60 different outfits, each one will be sold separately in expansion packs!
Extras
While designing this playset, I had to design the stickering for the wallpaper backstage, as well as posters to mirror the ones Taylor had in her cleaning cart in real life. I wanted to ensure that the decor I added felt true to Taylor, so I referenced the Eras Tour book, Taylor's 2016 Vogue interview, and much more!
My family and I are also huge Swifties and have been fortunate enough to attend a few of her concerts. I wanted to pay homage to them, so I added my own personal touch by including a couple of pictures of us in the bookshelves!

A Slice of Cake began as my way of sharing my creative process and passions through short-form content. What started as a small creative outlet soon grew into something much bigger. In 2020, I launched my Etsy shop, selling custom shoes, stickers, and accessories, making over 100 sales in my first year.
